Dr Leena Voss — Principal Hydrogeologist

library/cvs/leena_voss.md

CV revision: 5 October 2026 | status: current employee since July 2017
Location: Box Hill | contact: leena.voss@coldstreamwe.example

Qualifications: BSc (Earth Sciences), 2001; PhD (Hydrogeology), 2007. Leena has 19 years of hydrogeological consulting and research experience, including groundwater network design, hydrochemistry, trend assessment and review of monitoring uncertainty.

Leena leads Coldstream's hydrogeology practice and is competent to perform a tender's Senior Hydrogeologist role where that appointment is made explicitly. She reviews sampling plans, evaluates groundwater level and chemistry records and checks that reports distinguish evidence, interpretation and unresolved uncertainty. She does not routinely lead field deployment.

Relevant work

  • P01 Bellfern, 2022–2025: technical reviewer of bore stabilisation procedures, hydrochemical comparisons and three annual interpretation reports.
  • P02 Tallowmere, 2023–2026: groundwater reviewer; documented limitations associated with incomplete historical reference-level records.
  • P04 Morrow Creek, 2024–2026: technical reviewer of shallow groundwater results and integration with receiving-water observations.
  • P08 Willowbank, 2024: reviewed the groundwater component of a one-off contamination investigation; this was not a recurring monitoring programme.

Capacity and nomination note

Leena has reserved a planning allowance of 0.2 FTE for WRW from January 2027, including sampling-plan review and annual interpretation. Final workload confirmation is required during bid approval. She can be nominated as Principal Hydrogeologist performing the Senior Hydrogeologist role. Her current job title should remain Principal Hydrogeologist in the CV. Fiona provides management escalation cover; technical relief would be arranged through Leena within the practice if needed.

She will not be a routine field worker under the proposed allocation. Field training requirements must be demonstrated by the staff who actually attend sites. Do not infer anyone's first aid or confined-space credentials from Leena's technical seniority.
