Coldstream Water & Environment Pty Ltd | POL-WHS-01 | version 3
Signed: Fiona Hartley, Managing Director, 15 March 2023
Last reviewed: 15 March 2023 | next review due: 15 March 2024
Coldstream commits to providing safe working conditions and meeting applicable Victorian occupational health and safety obligations. Management provides resources for planning, consultation, training and incident prevention. Staff participate in risk assessment, follow approved procedures and stop work where conditions are unsafe. The Managing Director is accountable for resourcing the system, and project managers are accountable for applying it to their projects.
Field work must be planned for the actual location and activity. Teams review access, traffic, water hazards, manual handling, weather and emergency response before starting. Training and authorisations are checked against the roster; no employee is required to undertake work beyond their demonstrated competence. Confined-space work requires specific assessment and controls. Workers can raise concerns without disadvantage.
Incidents and near misses are recorded, investigated proportionately and used to improve procedures. Corrective actions have an owner and a completion date. Management reviews trends and consults staff on changes affecting their work. This policy is intended to be reviewed annually or following a material change in operations or obligations.
Controlled-folder note, 19 October 2026: this is the latest signed policy available. No later review or reapproval is filed. Operational procedures and the ISO 45001 certificate are separate records and do not change the date on this policy.
