Four monthly rounds at five wetland inflow and outflow sites established a pre-occupation surface-water baseline. Work included field chemistry, nutrient and microbiological analysis by an accredited subcontract laboratory, a validated CSV dataset and a short baseline report. There was no groundwater component. The report identified the limited seasonal coverage and recommended a longer programme before drawing trend conclusions.
The developer's overall landscape package was A$1.4 million; Coldstream's contract was only A$68,000. A pencilled note on the exported sales summary says “potential to combine with next stage”. No next-stage commission was awarded in this record. The final fee must not be inflated by adding the landscape budget or an unawarded stage. The project is relevant to surface-water sampling capability but its small value is important when selecting threshold-based references.
