Coldstream designed a detention basin, bioretention cells and drainage connections for a residential precinct. Services included hydrological modelling, treatment sizing, concept options, detailed drawings and construction-phase design queries. The final deliverable was an accepted design package. The commission did not include groundwater sampling, recurring surface-water sampling, laboratory coordination or monitoring-data delivery.
The design was revised to accommodate an existing utility corridor without reducing the modelled treatment area. This is useful design and stakeholder-management experience, but the modelled pollutant reduction is not an observed water-quality monitoring outcome. The project sits in the water team folder because of its service line, which makes it easy to retrieve during a keyword search for “water”. Its fee and recency do not establish relevance to a recurring monitoring contract.
